Scarborough 3rds have moved within 4 points of second placed Commercial following their win at Flixton 3rds last Saturday.Boro's  maximum points haul of 20 was  one more than their rivals, who easily beat lowly Bridlington 3rds by 8 wickets at Graham School.

The most significant result ,however,was the 60 run defeat of  once runaway leaders Hunmanby 1sts, by Heslerton.This means that Hunmanby lead the table by 15 points from Commercial and 19 ahead of Scarboorugh.

With Hunmanby and  Commercial meeting  at Sands Lane on Saturday this could pave  the way for Scarborough 3rds to take closer order when they visit already relegated Foords at Filey.

Whatever the outcome of Saturday's games the title and promotion spot will not be decided until the very last matches of the season.
