THIRDS PROMOTION CHALLENGE BACK ON   Date: 03 Aug 09

Following their 34 run defeat at  fellow promotion hopefuls Commercial  the previous Saturday,which saw them slip to third place, some 12 points adrift, Scarborough 3rds returned to winning ways when they defeated previously unbeaten table toppers Hunmanby at Oriel.

Their superb 4 wicket victory gave Boro 17 points from the match , which has put back them level on points with Commercial whose match against Wykeham 2nds fell victim to the weather giving them 5 points.(see full match report)

Hunmanby remain some 30 points clear at the top and are strong favourites for the title with just 4 games to go.
