THIRDS IN LEAGUE AND CUP ACTION   Date: 09 May 09

Following their excellent win at Duncombe Park last Saturday Scarborough 3rds open their home league campaign   against Commercial at  Oriel .Debuts are handed to veteran Barry Mitchell and his son 13 year old Chris with Jake Finnegan , Matthew Renwick ,and youngster Jordan Welford also making their first outings of the season.

On Sunday the thirds travel to Great Habton in the first round of the 30 overs per side Homeguard Cup start 2-30pm and in the absence of skipper  Martin North,Will Gibson will lead the side.Monday sees the thirds in action against new boys Hunmanby 1sts in the first round of the Atlas Ward trophy at Oriel with a 6-30pm start.

Boro reached the semi-finals of both cup competitions last season and hope to go one better this.
